Harness Leather Split Reins (Heavy) 5/8

5/8” Hermann Oak Heavy Harness Leather Split Reins with a waterloop end. 

These reins have such a soft, smooth feel.

I usually hand pick out harness leather hides to get the longest and thickest hides I can find, and then the reins are cut in matched pairs, from the spine, with as much weight as possible remaining from the natural hide thickness, and then tied off with Latigo. This way I can offer the thickest single-ply reins possible.

Available in different foot lengths but if you can’t find a shorter length I can trim down after checkout (just send me a message or email). These reins aren’t oiled.
